KATE NAVIN was born in Rochester, NY and attended SUNY Geneseo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater. After graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in the administrative end of theater. Douglas & Kopelman Artists, Inc. offered Kate an internship and after a few months, she took a full-time position assisting Sarah Douglas and Charles Kopelman at their agency. In October of 2005, all three joined Abrams Artists Agency where Kate was promoted to agent in their Literary Division. She is currently working representing designers, directors, choreographers, playwrights, composers and lyricists/librettists.
